Clayton, Dubilier & Rice today announced the appointment of Orla Beggs as Partner, Human Capital. Ms. Beggs is former partner and head of the US People and Organization practice at PwC.
Ms. Beggs’ responsibilities will include leading human resources at CD&R, as well as driving people and organizational related initiatives aligned with value creation at portfolio companies. She has advised CD&R and other private equity firms on transactions in both the U.S. and Europe over the past 16 years. She has also served as a valued member of CD&R’s HR Council, a best practice sharing forum for portfolio company HR leaders.

Ms. Beggs spent the early years of her career as a pensions actuary (being a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the United Kingdom and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries in the United States) and subsequently specialized in coordinating the human capital aspects of mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and dispositions. Ms. Beggs holds a master’s degree in Mathematics from Oxford University and an M.B.A. from Manchester University.
