Clayton, Dubilier & Rice Completes Acquisition of HD Supply from The Home Depot

 Clayton, Dubilier & Rice has completed the acquisition of HD Supply from The Home Depot. The transaction, in which Bain Capital and The Carlyle Group are partnering with CD&R, is valued at approximately $8.4 billion net of fees paid by The Home Depot.

With revenues of more than $13 billion, HD Supply is a leading player in the highly fragmented $400+ billion North American industrial and construction distribution industry. It is the second largest distributor of construction, industrial, and maintenance supplies, with leadership positions in several of the 12 industry verticals in which the company competes. HD Supply has nearly 1,000 locations in North America, employs more than 25,000 associates, offers more than 570,000 products and serves over 500,000 customers.
